This work package is on tracking subsidence rates at local and regional scales: on providing essential subsidence values for use in NWA-LOSS causal analysis, measure design, subsidence forecasting and mitigation policy scenarios.

Estimating subsidence from radar images of the Earth taken by satellites.

WP1.2 – Disentangeling different sources of subsidence
Identifying key parameters of subsidence by inversion

WP1.3 – Subsidence, relative sea-level rise, GIA
Track and trace the use of GIA modelling in the process chains of InSAR data processing (WP1.1) and subsidence spatial forecasting (WP3), notably for scenario’s that include sea-level rise in the 21st century.
